This vibrant two-day event brings books to life for local students and families. On Friday, schools will visit as part of a special field trip experience, and on Saturday, the doors open to the public for a full day of fun, literacy, and community connection. I’ll be there with my collection of children’s books—ready to share stories, sign copies, and celebrate the magic of reading!

This exciting two-day event begins Friday with school field trips and continues Saturday with a public book fair full of family fun, community connection, and amazing books. I’ll be there with my children’s books—signing, sharing, and celebrating the power of reading.
This event is proudly supported by the Atlanta chapter of the National Hook-Up of Black Women (NHBW)—a powerful partner in bringing literacy, representation, and joy to our young readers.

This inspiring event is all about celebrating literacy, culture, and community—with children’s authors, amazing books, and family-friendly fun from 10AM–3PM. I’ll be there with my full collection, signing books, sharing stories, and connecting with readers of all ages!
But that’s not all…
Right outside the club, the Sherman Park Annual Harvest Fest will be in full swing—bringing the community together with music, games, delicious food, and a celebration of the season’s bounty. It’s the perfect weekend to experience the magic of storytelling and the heart of Milwaukee!
